VIDEO: Desiderata

by Jaclyn on December 15, 2013

First and foremost, I want to thank you for being in my life. It brings me great joy to share my thoughts and discoveries with you in hopes that they may help guide you along your own incredible journey.

I want to share one of my favorite, meditative prose-poems of all times with you. “Desiderata” was written in 1927 by a man named Max Ehrmann, and his words remain a touchstone for me in both times of happiness and suffering.

As always, your thoughts and feelings are warmly welcomed below the video.

I hope this poem brings you the same sense of peace that it brings me.

Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section below, or click here or the image below for the poem in written form.

This has always been one of my favorite poems. I love that you’ve placed it with images in such a peaceful and moving clip. Thank you for this, Jaclyn.
